From battling breast cancer to spreading love: A heartwarming surprise for the doctor who saved her life. Sylvia Chapman and her daughter, Christy Chapman of Le Perie Event Space, set up a stunning surprise event for Dr. Kathy Jo Castarphen for #DoctorsDay. With the support of Dr. Castarphen’s staff, they shared heartfelt words of appreciation for the doctor who had made a significant impact on Sylvia’s life. Dr. Castarphen’s mission of supporting patients with chronic and complex health issues through Ochsner’s MedVantage Clinics has touched countless lives, and Sylvia’s surprise was a touching reminder of the impact her care has on her patients.
